JOB POSTING
The Anguilla Electricity Company Limited invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Temporary Cashier in the Administration Department.
Main Functions, Duties & Responsibilities of the position include:
1. Collect cash from consumers and issue receipts in accordance with
established and approved procedures.
2. Reconcile cash balances with receipts issued at the end of each day
and prepare bank deposits in the approved format.
3. Analyze daily cash receipts by completing cash summaries and
arranging for verification by the Senior Accounts Clerk.
4. Respond to customer queries on billings and refer to customer care
personnel for further action or clarification as necessary.
5. Replenish the cash pan with change and collect bank deposit books
when required to perform the job function (in the absence of a
messenger).
6. Contact customers in relation to returned cheques.
7. Adhere at all times to the disciplinary guidelines and practices as set
out by the company.
8. Maintain established codes of conduct so as to enhance the companies
image and business profile.
9. Perform other related duties as required by the job function.
Qualifications, Requirements & Experience:
*The candidate should possess at least four (4) G.C.E Ordinary level or C.X.C
examination passes including Mathematics, English Language
